BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY

1

Internship Program (Spring Term)

 

During the Spring Term, our SEC sponsored an internship program for 1 student from the University of Texas, El Paso.  The intern worked in the Programming Department and was able to observe the day-to-day operations of other departments as well.  The intern was supervised by our Non-Traditional Resource Director.

Participated in Job Fair

 

On September 25, 2009 Clear Channel El Paso purchased a booth for the UTEP Job Fair.  Station personnel took resumes and applications and answered questions about open positions at the stations.

Internship Program (Fall Term)

 

During the Fall Term, our SEC sponsored an internship program for 2 students from the University of Texas, El Paso.  The interns gained hands-on experience in the Programming Department and, in addition to their daily responsibilities, were able to seek career advice from station personnel.  The interns were supervised by our Program Director.`
